SIMAERO ACQUIRES DASH 8-100/300 AND BEECH 1900 SIMULATORS

SIMAERO is significantly expanding its asset base by successfully concluding a deal with FlightSafety International for the acquisition of the Dash 8-100/300 and Beech 1900 simulators operated in Johannesburg.

In addition the Embraer ERJ135/145 full flight simulator’s leasing agreement has been extended for another 4 years. 

All 3 devices have been in operation in SIMAERO Johannesburg’s training center and all 3 of them will remain there.
SIMAERO’s Johannesburg Training center was opened in 2010 with FlightSafety International in partnership. The facility is located nearby O.R. Tambo International Airport, within a secure industrial campus. The surrounding aerotropolis is abundant with excellent hotels, shopping malls, restaurants and places of interest what makes this center an extremely attractive location for pilot training. The MD 80 full flight simulator is also available in the Johannesburg training center with further expansion due.
