PURPOSE OF DAHER APPROVED TBM CLASS RATING TRAINING

After completion of this training, candidate will be able to operate safely and efficiently the relevant aircraft as a standard Pilot in compliance with Aircrew Annex 1 sub part H.

DAHER APPROVED TBM CLASS RATING COURSE OBJECTIVE

Throughout the training the goal is to teach the crew to carry out tasks proficiently, safely and efficiently, in accordance with approved procedures as state in FCL.010 GM1 FCL700 regarding ground and Flight training.

Completion ensures the standards of Part FCL sub part H are met.


DAHER APPROVED TBM CLASS RATING COURSE PREREQUISITES FOR FIRST TBM CLASS RATING:

All trainees for a first TBM CLASS RATING shall meet the prerequisites as stated in Part FCL, consisting of the following:

  • Minimum experience : 500 hours as a Pilot In Command (PIC) or as a PF (in multi-crew operation); and
  • Hold a valid Instrument Rating (IR); and
  • HPA requirements
  • for PPL only, HPA course certificate.


DAHER APPROVED TBM CLASS RATING COURSE OVERVIEW

This training is divided in three different phases:

1. GROUND TRAINING PHASE

Self study of systems in DVD-rom

System Ground training phase consists of teaching theoretical knowledge for aircraft systems, equipment, performance, Flight planning and limitations in compliance with normal and abnormal or emergency procedures as stated in Part FCL 725 a) I), ORA.ATO.125, AMC1 ORA.ATO.125, AMC2 ORA.ATO.125.mDuration 17h 30 min, 5 days

Location: At Home or in TARBES, France

2. COCKPIT TRAINER TRAINING PHASE

Throughout this phase, the goal is to teach the crew to carry out a flight in compliance with SOP, normal, abnormal and emergency procedures.

The course will give the opportunities to trainees to practice the skills that are necessary to be effective.

Duration: 15 hours, 4 days

3. FLIGHT TRAINING PHASE

In compliance with Part FCL 725 and appendix 9, the crew must have succeeded ground skill test before beginning Flight phase training.

This phase will train the pilots to proficiency as stated in PART-FCL to prepare skill test according with PART-FCL
