20+ Years Of Experience

2 French entrepreneurs launch SIM in Dinard, France, with 2 Fokker full-flight simulators.

2002

SIM wins a French Air Force contract for pilot training and maintenance on a KC-135 FFS in Istres.

2008

Johannesburg Training Center opens, with 8 bays.

2009

Paris Training Center opens, with 8 bays.

2010

First multi-year contract for ATR-500 FFS operation and maintenance in Paris Training Center.

2011

SIM becomes Simaero.
Rive Private Investment acquires a majority stake in the company and a new management team takes over.

2018

Simaero starts simulation engineering operations in China.

2019

Joint venture with HNCA for FFS engineering and maintenance services in Zhengzhou. Launch of Wisdom, Simaero’s online training platform, approved by the EASA.

2021

Simaero signs an exclusive deal with Air France to sell training on 10 of their FFS in Paris.

2022

Simaero incorporates Simaero India. New Joint Venture with HNCA for simulator leasing services.

2023

Simaero opens Changsha Training Center, with 8 bays.

2024

Simaero has opened a second training facility at Paris CDG, with 8 bays.

2025

Simaero has opened Delhi training center, with 8 bays.
