Cross Crew Qualification (CCQ) and Difference Training

These are referred to as Cross Crew Qualification (CCQ) and Common Type Rating (CTR) Course for Airbus, and Difference Course for Boeing, ATR, and Dash fleets.

The synopsis and duration presented above are indicative only and are based on the A320 to A330 CCQ Course following the EASA program.
This Common Type Rating (CTR) course allows pilots who are already qualified on Airbus 330 aircraft type to operate the Airbus 350 type, and vice versa, after completing a streamlined differences training, rather than undergoing a full initial type rating course. It is based on the high degree of cockpit and operational commonality between certain Airbus aircraft families.
