Airbus A320 and A330 Full Flight Simulators have been upgraded and received EASA certification in December 2019. Boeing 737-300 and Boeing 737-800 Full Flight Simulators, as well as ATR 72-500, will receive UPRT certification in Q1 2020. Pilot training programs have further been updated to include full UPRT requirements.
SIMAERO is committed to offer a high quality UPRT and help flight crews to acquire the competencies to prevent airplane upset. Loss of Control Inflight has been the main cause for aircraft accidents during the last decade. Mitigating loss of control occurrences has therefore become a priority for regulators and airlines. FAA and EASA included UPRT as a requirement in both the academic and simulator-based training required for the Airline Transport Pilot rating. The International Civil Aviation Organization has also published the manual on Aeroplane UPRT, and has recommendations for UPRT during commercial pilot licensing and type rating training.
