Type rating conversion for non-rated pilots.
The primary recurrent training program is for type rated Dash 8 pilots.
The secondary recurrent program focuses largely on the technical aspects applicable to the rotational technical syllabus.
All our practical training part is conducted in a full motion level-D flight simulator Dash 8.
For the theoretical, aircraft systems part, our Wisdom learning platform is accessible from anywhere in the world. The online training courses form the base of our student pre-course material.
SIMAERO trainees are invited to join the Sim Trainer One student community for trainees to engage with the SIMAERO pilot fraternity across the globe. Various channels of communication have been set up for the trainees to post or view relevant points of interest. SIMAERO students have permanent access to our community.
All our training programs can be adapted according to the requirements of the customer and other civil aviation authorities.
Short range turboprop airliner. In service since 1984. Initial basic model of Dash 8 regional turboprop airliner family. Followed by the series 100A in 1990 with extra headroom and 100B (since 1992) with more powerful engines. From 1996 all Dash 8s delivered with a computer controlled noise and vibration suppression system. Type designation with a Q for quiet.
