The role involves diagnosing and resolving technical faults, performing preventive and corrective maintenance, and ensuring that all simulator systems meet the required standards of reliability, serviceability, and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure timely implementation and operational readiness of simulators as per the scheduled plan.
- Respond promptly to client requests to resolve technical issues during or outside of training sessions.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and repair various hardware/software faults on simulators and associated systems.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to maintain optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Use built-in software tools for diagnostics, updates, and calibration tasks.
- Assist in understanding and execution of Qualification Test Guide (QTG) procedures.
- Accurately document interventions and maintenance actions in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Monitor and manage spare parts inventory, raise requests as needed.
- Maintain supporting infrastructure, including tools, test equipment, and facilities to the required safety and operational standards.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and report any safety-related issues in line with the Safety Management System (SMS).
- Provide direct technical support to internal and external customers, ensuring high levels of service quality.
