Appointment of Mr. Bryan Roseveare as General Manager South Africa of Simaero

Johannesburg, June 08, 2026

Today, Simaero announced the appointment of Mr. Bryan Roseveare as General Manager South Africa, leading operations at the Johannesburg training center, effective immediately. In this capacity, Bryan has also been approved by the South African Civil Aviation Authority (SACAA) as Accountable Manager, reinforcing Simaero’s continued commitment to regulatory compliance and operational oversight in the region.

Since joining Simaero as Training Manager, Bryan has played an increasingly central role in the management and development of the Johannesburg center. His deep operational knowledge, consistent execution, and the trust of the local team have made him a natural choice to take on this expanded leadership responsibility.

With 22 years of aviation experience, Bryan brings a strong combination of operational and leadership capabilities. He previously served as CRJ Fleet Captain, giving him first-hand experience of airline operational realities and training needs.

In addition to his operational background, Bryan is also the creator and host of the Bryan Air Podcast, a long-running aviation series with 260+ episodes and listeners across 40+ countries. The platform reflects his ongoing engagement with industry topics relevant to pilots, operators, and aviation decision-makers.

Bryan succeeds Keith Roseveare, and Simaero would like to recognize and thank him for the impact of his leadership in shaping the Johannesburg center over the past decade. His commitment to high standards, his ability to build strong teams, and his hands-on approach to training have been instrumental in establishing the center’s strong standing in South Africa. Going forward, Keith will remain closely involved as Chairman of the Simaero Board in South Africa and will continue in his role as Head of Training.

“I am very pleased to see Bryan appointed to this role, and his competence, commitment, and leadership have already contributed significantly to the development of our Johannesburg operation,” affirms Nicolas Mouté, Chief Executive Officer of Simaero. “I am confident that, under his leadership, Johannesburg will continue to grow and remain a reference for pilot training in the region.”
