Simaero is proud to announce that our advanced Boeing 757/767 Full Flight Simulator has been officially certified by the UK Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), marking a significant effort towards enhancing training Solutions for UK Operators and further strengthening Simaero’s position as a leading provider of high-quality full flight simulators for pilot training and type rating solutions.
Located in Paris CDG Training Center, the B757/767 FFS is Simaero’s second simulator certified by the UK CAA along with the ATR 72-500 FFS. Simaero can now resume all its advanced pilot training services with its UK customers, including type rating training courses, 757/767 difference courses, LVO courses, and TRI/SFI courses.
This device is a level CG FFS, offering B757-200 and B767-300 ER variants. It is equipped with Rockwell Collins visual system, collimated with day, dusk, dawn, and night; a TTSL C2000 hydraulic 60 inches motion system; Engine it PW 4056; Instrument fit EICAS/ EFIS; ACAS II; Windshear profiles available.
The addition of this CAA certification upholds our B757/767 simulator training program as a trusted UK Boeing simulator solution for airlines and Approved Training Organizations (ATOs) requiring UK regulatory compliance. This is particularly valuable for UK-based airlines who need access to CAA certified full flight simulators for pilot training but may face limited simulator availability within the UK itself.
Our Boeing 757 and 767 simulator is available for both EASA approved type rating training courses and flexible dry lease arrangements, enabling airlines to efficiently manage their crew training schedules or supplement their in-house training capacity. The simulator’s dual certification for both the 757 and 767 models allows for streamlined transition and difference training, making it a cost-effective and versatile training solution.
The ongoing demand for Boeing 757 and 767 remain critical to many airline fleets, especially in the cargo and freight market, as the continued extension of their operational life has created a sustained need for qualified pilots and recurrent training.
Moreover, post-Brexit regulatory changes have further fueled the need for CAA-approved full flight simulators outside the UK, especially in accessible European locations.
