SIMAERO ADDS THE ATR 72-600 TO ITS SIMULATOR FLEET

SIMAERO is proud to announce the acquisition of an ATR 72-600 Full Flight Simulator in the state of the art facility of Paris CDG Training Center.

From 01 December 2021, this ATR training device will complement SIMAERO’s existing simulator fleet.

The ATR 72-600 Full Flight Simulator is installed, certified and ready for training of our customers.

Previously the simulator was owned and operated by the aircraft manufacturer’s ATR Training Center under a housing and maintenance agreement with SIMAERO, in the same location. This has allowed to execute the acquisition without interrupting the simulator operations and without any negative impact to SIMAERO customer training schedules.

This acquisition enables SIMAERO to expand our global Full Flight Simulator fleet, in particular on the successful ATR 42/72 segment, as it complements the two ATR 42/72 full flight simulators that we already operate in our Paris and Johannesburg Training Centers”, said Nicolas Mouté, CEO of SIMAERO.

The CAE (ex TRU) built ATR 72-600 Full flight Simulator has been manufactured in 2017. It corresponds to ATR 3.1 standard, has EASA level D certification, ACAS II, UPRT, Icing, Approach to stall, ETOPS capabilities. Electro pneumatic motion and RSI 200×40 degrees visual systems ensure excellent comfort during training. The convenient debriefing station with video recording, registration of flight parameters and crew communication is also available.
